What a successful year! Before we share what's ahead in 2019, here are the iBreve highlights of the year at one glance!

It is always nice being covered by large international newspapers. The Guardian interviewed Flavia and wanted to know how iBreve started, if the wearable can be used during yoga and how the mindfulness trend impacts iBreve. The interview was part of the AXA Health Tech & You Awards in London, who selected Flavia within the Women in Health Tech Entrepreneurs 2018 category. We are honored to be selected as one of the top seven digital health startups within the European-wide EIT Health Catapult by the investor jury! It all started with the invitation to pitch during the International Business Festival in Liverpool. Flavia was selected among the regional winners and iBreve was allowed to enter the next round. Step one - check! Next up the European wide selection within the digital health category. Consisting of 3 days training in Erlangen, Germany. The jury consisting of European investors and experts in digital health evaluated the startups and in the end selected iBreve among the top seven European startups in digital health and the opportunity to present at the big EIT Health Summit in Poland. Thank you EIT Health!

Next to The Guardian article, we are excited that iBreve was covered by El Mundo, one of the largest newspapers in Spain and La Vanguardia, the biggest in Catalonia/4th biggest in Spain. iBreve also was featured in the health special inlay Publicateur of the Handelsblatt in Germany, Business World in Ireland, Vitonica in Mexico etc. If you are a journalist or have a blog, we are happy to send you our iBreve press kit!

The so called ‘medical valley’ of USA was home to iBreve during the 4 weeks Richi Entrepreneurs immersion program. iBreve was selected as one of the 2 sponsored startups within the European wide Craash Accelerator to participate in the networking and immersion program in Boston. The selection was part of an accelerator program developed by CIMIT, a network of world-class academic and medical institutions, in partnership with Biocat and EIT Health.
The story doesn’t stop here. iBreve was selected by the jury as one of the winners in Boston and iBreve received the Richi Entrepreneurs Incubator Award. We are looking forward to be back in Boston and Massachusetts being part of the North Shore InnoVentures next year!
